Business Analyst
£30,000 to £40,000 per annum
My Edinburgh based client are currently recruiting for a Business Analyst to join their team on a permanent basis.
This is an excellent opportunity to join an established business booming with the latest technologies.You will be working closely with key stakeholders to identify business models, workflows and product features.
Main responsibilities:
* Work within an agile software development environment to deliver contracted software solution
* Formulating proposals and response to tenders, by providing input to help facilitate high level estimations of cost and resource.
* Identify business problems and derive potential solutions to meet the business needs
* Engage with internal stakeholders, customers, partners or suppliers and elicit business requirements.
* Project control assistance to project manager in the areas of reporting, evaluation of KPIs.
* Involvement in acceptance testing & validation of requirements.
Skills and Competencies:
* Experience working within potentially complex customer and stakeholder relationships.
* Experience in using agile methodologies (SCRUM). SCRUM master experience an advantage.
* Extensive experience in providing business analysis within the full software development lifecycle during requirements capture, design, verification, testing and release phases.
* Knowledge of identity management as well as information governance and regulatory landscape (an advantage).
* Educated to degree level with relevant subject (e.g. technical, computer science)

* Someone with leadership skills to motivate, train and build an effective development team
