I am looking for "Data Ninja" a candidate that is able to consult with businesses whilst working as part of analytics team focusing on Big Data Technologies. You will be working in multi-disciplinary teams, pushing limits and striving for innovation to create exceptional solutions for clients across different industries.

You will need the ability to interact at levels of a business so excellent communication skills are required. You be seen as a role model and mentor junior staff. This role is for a candidates that have high levels of self-motivation, with the desire to learn new technologies.

Technical skills required, as this is a consultant role some not all of the below are needed to be successful:

* Experience using Big Data and Hadoop ecosystems to solve large-scale problems

* Strong background in Java or Scala development

* Experience of Linux scripting

* Strong background in Big Data technologies such as: Spark, Akka, HBase, HDFS and Hive

* Experience of Data Warehousing and ETL technologies including Informatica Powercenter and Data Quality

* Experience of Data Analytics (R, Python, H2O, Rapidminer, Tensorflow)

* Experience of Data Engineering (Scala, NiFi, Flink)

* Experience in processing real-time events using Kafka, Flume or NiFi

* Experience with distributed stream processing frameworks

* Visualisation Development (D3.js, R Shiny, Leaflet, Kibana)

* Familiarity with Agile engineering practices

* Excellent oral and written English communication skills

* Understanding of cloud platforms, such as Amazon Web Services
