We are currently seeking a Software Delivery Manager to join an established international business based in the City. In the role, the Software Delivery Manager will help drive the client's growing software development and delivery team, providing guidance, facilitating sessions, removing roadblocks to allow the technical to deliver the internally-facing systems that drive the business. The successful Software Delivery Manager will work closely with the IT Manager and a range of business stakeholders, so excellent communication skills and confidence working with Senior Management is essential.

Working as the Software Delivery Manager, your role will include:

* Managing the delivery, release and support processes including DevOps and QA, championing Agile development and software engineering best practice.

* Working with Product Owners and other stakeholders to ensure that user stories are captured, user acceptance testing plans are followed, issues are documented accordingly and go live plans established.

* Documenting meetings, business processes, risks and issues, status reports, business flows and other documents.

* Working with the IT Manager and Senior Developers to scale agile practices, refine delivery processes, as well as all design, development, testing, delivery and support activities.

Skills required for the Software Delivery Manager:

* Technical background in Software Development, Testing or DevOps.

* Strong knowledge of Agile delivery methodology (Kanban/Scrum).

* Strong knowledge of Agile development methodologies including TDD and Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery.

* Experience with agile project management tools such as JIRA, Trello & GitHub.

* Experience of managing stakeholders.
