Graduate Developer

We are seeking a passionate graduate developer to join us in September 2019 in developing award-winning trading platforms and tools, all crafted in-house. Modern, scalable and secure, our mobile trading platforms are written in native code and our web platform is written in HTML5 to provide the best user experience.

As part of our IT Development team, you will work at the heart of our business, helping to ensure the continuing high performance of our core trading systems. You will contribute to a range of creative projects encompassing the full breadth of modern software engineering.

You’ll have great opportunities to learn and expand your skill set, with the flexibility to develop using software tools of your choice on our high-spec hardware, including: Java 8, Spring Framework, Clojure, Tomcat RESTful services, C++, Oracle RAC, C++, Swift Android, HTML5, JavaScript, Scala, Python, Kafka, ActiveMQ, MongoDB, Oracle RDMS, OBIEE, Tableau, AWS and Hadoop Big Data

Our Graduate Trainee Programme

- Lasts 18 months

- Involves placements working alongside our expert developers

- Includes shorter placements in related areas, designed to give you an in-depth overview of IG

Passionate about applying?

You should have recently or be about to complete a degree, ideally in Computer Science or Engineering. However, we also consider other STEM subjects, if you can demonstrate your programming knowledge.

You are passionate about IT, possibly have some prior real-world experience and are keen to learn and apply new technologies in a dynamic business environment.

Our process:
