Senior SOC Analyst - £40,000 - £50,000 - Berkshire

Are you another internal Security Analyst who is treated as a "back-end" employee?

Are you looking for your next role working alongside an organisation passionate about customer service and Security?

I'm looking for a Senior SOC Analyst to join a major systems integrator based in Berkshire. You should have the ability to play a key role within small teams of continuous monitoring of customer environments via Security tools.

As a Senior Analyst, you will be looked upon by the client to make "next step" recommendations to clients when reporting incidents - providing a subject matter expertise; essentially, acting in a light Incident Response capacity. You will provide security analysis of customer security events, and supporting highly secure, complex customer environments.

Ideally skilled/ experienced within: Security Operations, SIEM Monitoring (Arcsight - Essential) IDS/IPS Monitoring (Snort, Palo Alto, Checkpoint - (tuning). You wouldn't require to have all of these but at a base minimum, some experience working alongside SIEM Monitoring and Vulnerability Management is a requirement.

With an excellent career progression laid out on arrival and the existing opportunities to move into more senior roles, and learn across different areas across the business, there is plenty of potential to continuously upskill yourself within the role! - Extensive training budget included.

If you feel this role would be of interest to you, please feel free to reach out to me on LinkedIn (Samuel S. Berti, Computer Futures).
