ICT Service Desk Analyst

£19,056 - £21,334 per annum

Working as an ICT Service Desk Analyst you will be part of the ICT Services partnership. As a member of the Service Desk team you will be required to help maintain our excellent level of ICT support for staff and Councillors.

Each day varies as you support staff across sites and deal with incidents and requests relating to desktop hardware, access to corporate systems and various software applications, printing, landline and mobile telephony.

You will be working with a number of enterprise technologies such as VoIP, Windows 7, Active Directory 2008, Exchange, and Citrix.

Our ideal candidate will have a proactive attitude with a commitment to providing a quality service. You will need to be highly customer-focused with the ability to assimilate technology quickly and able to troubleshoot complex IT problems. You will have excellent communications skills and be able to match your communication style to the needs of the customer.

Own transport and a full driving license is a must as you will need to travel between a number of sites.

Flexible and part-time working:

Flexible and potentially part-time working are also available to suit the requirements of the role.

The role can be based at either Wellingborough or Thrapston, with easy access from the A45 and A14. Ad hoc travel will be required between sites during the week.
