Excellent opportunity as a quality manager at a world class manufacturer in a varied and technically challenging role.

Are you familiar with managing ISO 9001 quality standards? Do you have experience working in a fabrication and assembly environment?

This company are a leading manufacturer of large equipment used across the world. They have an excellent reputation for quality and they fabricate and assemble the equipment from scratch at their site in Barnsley. This is a highly technical operation which is still evolving and growing from strength to strength. Due to their success they are now looking for a new quality manager to oversee the full quality process.

From day one in this role you will take on a wide range of responsibilities, managing and developing a large team of quality engineers and technicians. You will need to manage resources and processes across the department including internal systems, suppliers and customers. Some of the frameworks used within the team include ISO 9001, Six Sigma, and Lean manufacturing. As you develop within the role you will have a significant effect on the company's overall quality policy.

This role would suit a Quality manager from a fabrication and assembly background, ideally automotive, aerospace or similar who is looking to join a world class manufacturer.

The Role:

*Manage the existing ISO 9001 Quality System

*Leading and developing a large team of engineers and technicians

*Working closely with the engineers on Internal and Supply Chain quality systems

*£45000 -£48000 + Healthcare, Bonus, Benefits

The Person:

*Experienced Quality Manager

*Familiar with ISO 9001

*Fabrication/assembly background (Automotive/Aerospace Ideal)

*Excellent communication and people management skills
