The opportunity:

Quality Engineers are required in my client's European Centre of Innovation, located close to Galway City. My client hold a portfolio of 13,000 products. They're at the forefront of the medical device industry. Their presence in Galway extends almost 25 years and continues to be one of the most highly regarded medical technology leaders in Ireland.

Your profile:

You're a quality professional with 3+ years' experience in the healthcare (medical device / pharma / diagnostics) industry. You have strong working knowledge of current regulatory standards in a medical device / ISO 13485 industry. Alternatively, you might be an experienced Quality Engineer in a different industry that's highly regulated, and share the same responsibilities that are expected in this position.

You might feel you have plateaued in your current position, and opportunities are limited internally. You might be doing activities that are above & beyond your call of duty, and want to work in a company that rewards this. You might be a working in a quality assurance orientated position and thinking of facing a new challenge in the medical device industry.

The role:

As Quality Engineer, you will be working in operations in a busy section of my clients company.

Day-to-day, you will be using your quality skillset in some of the following duties:

* Non-conforming product

* Customer Complaints

* Validation techniques

* Analysis of customer feedback and complaints

* Risk Management

* New product/technology transfer

* Working knowledge of statistical analysis, lean principals and Six Sigma

* Dealing with suppliers, other departments and customers offsite

* Technical guidance to junior quality staff

* Engage in internal audits & ensure area is audit ready
