Technical Architect - IT

Abingdon, Oxfordshire

£50k - £70k DOE + bonus + benefits

Our client is the UK leader and emerging global force in the delivery of a number of different technological services to the education sector not only throughout the UK, but globally. We have been asked to assist in the recruitment of several Technical Architect's to join at an exciting stage in the journey of this dynamic division within the company group.

As there will be more than one successful candidate, our client is looking for a mixture of individuals, so whether you are looking to move into pure architecture and come from a hybrid background, or whether you're a seasoned professional with over 10 years' experience, we want to hear from you.

Key Skills / Requirements

-Experience delivering a project at architect level

-Significant hands-on Software Development experience

-Technical Leadership of Software Development Projects

-Software Development / Operational Support Background

-Ability to Lead an ESI Development Team

-Ability to liaise with colleagues and customers

-JAVA / J2EE / RESTful API Environments

This role may involve some occasional travel throughout the UK, and the opportunity to travel overseas for a few weeks each year. The position would suit individuals who currently hold the job titles of, Technical Architect, Software Architect, Senior Software Developer, Hybrid Developer / Designer, Hybrid Developer / Architect, Junior Technical Architect, Junior Architect, Senior Architect.
