SAS Developer - Manchester - 10 Month Contract

My client, a large technology consultancy are looking to hire a SAS Developer for a 10 month contract role in Manchester. The position can offer a competitive daily rate and they are looking for some one to start in the next few weeks.

Role Background:

* The successful candidate will be responsible for design and development of business intelligence / data warehousing / reporting applications that utilise specialised tools/products SAS (base) and SAS tools including Enterprise Guide and DI Studio

Required Skills:

* My client are looking for candidates with extensive SAS experience in both development and testing SAS 9.1, 9.2 and 9.4.

* Exposure to Base SAS, SAS DI Studio, SAS Enterprise Guide and Hadoop would also be beneficial.

* Any previous experience in the Banking or Financial Services industry would be beneficial.

* Candidates should also be eligible and willing to undergo a financial and criminal background check prior to going on site.
