The Role:

My client are building out there Service Performance Management Centre and require additional resource to ensure that operational excellence drives efficiency through proactive monitoring and management of infrastructure events.

This is a technical role that's required for the up keep, maintenance and operational stability of the firms Infrastructure, backup and DR capabilities. You will need to have strong Infrastructure & network skills. There is a particular need for this role uphold security and compliance to internal led standards which will include the delivery of various security projects & solutions

Responsibilities:

* Break fix of Infrastructure, Perform auditing, monitoring, capacity management and security patching of our network infrastructure

* Process driven (ITIL/ISO27001)

* To assist in the delivery of effective Infrastructure through monitoring, co-ordinate and control Service Management activity

Core Tech:

* Microsoft stack (AD/DNS/OS/SCOM/Exchange)

* Security tech - log collectors/firewalls

The client are ideally looking for a versatile engineer with technical (3rd line level) knowledge but with the ability to liaise with different people within the business so if this sounds like you then please respond with your updated CV and I can call you back to discuss further,

Contract Length: 6 months
