SC Cleared Wintel Engineer to be based in Erskine on an initial 6 Month contract. Experienced Wintel Engineer who ideally holds SC level clearance. Good experience of Windows Servers, AD, Citrix.

Job Title - SC Cleared Wintel Engineer

Location - Erskine

Duration - 6 Months

Wintel Specialist: Utilise a broad spectrum of technology to produce part or all of the technical solution for our clients. Apply depth and breadth of technical knowledge and be individually responsible for the design and scope of deliverables within a field of expertise. Contribute to knowledge tools and communities, proactively support automation and ensure learnings are shared for reuse.

Core Skills and Experience:

* Strong Wintel experience in designing and engineering solutions.

* Understanding of virtual and physical server infrastructure

* Strong Windows administration, hardening and troubleshooting experience

* Windows W2003/2008/2012

* Strong scripting skills - PowerShell/VBscript/Batch

* Core windows services, features and roles.

* Excellent written and oral communication and technical documentation skills

* Self-motivated and strong organisational skills

Desirable Skills and Experience:

* System architecture of large scale deployments

* System architecture of large scale deployments

* Active Directory and Group Policy

* Terminal Services, Citrix XenApp, VDI

* Technical knowledge of HP hardware

* Experience with technologies

* Windows Server 2008 and 2012

* Active Directory, GPO, DNS and DHCP

* MS SQL, System Center 2012

* SAN Storage

* Cloud Technologies

* Understanding of ITIL Processes

* Experience working in a customer driven environment
