Our client, a leading not-for profit organisation, has an excellent permanent opportunity available for an Information Security Analyst to be based at their site in Liverpool.
You will have the opportunity to be part of an organisation that does truly great things for people. Their Information Security department plays a key role in their IT & Change function, even more so during a period of transformation which is now reaching its final stages, bringing exciting opportunities like this one.
A key part of this role will ensure any key IT security risks are identified and managed for existing IT systems and new projects during the project lifecycle.
You will embed effective IT security controls within assigned projects to reduce the transfer of unnecessary risk into production. You will also operate and maintain any IT security technologies, including managing third-party support agreements.
From a stakeholder management perspective, you will manage internal and external stakeholders effectively in relation to IT security design, building constructive relationships to deliver business objectives by creating an inclusive, supportive and professional environment.
The successful candidate will have excellent analytical skills, proven experience of working on PCI DSS and ISO 27001 initiatives and a sound understanding of the key concepts of Information Security (ideally CISSP qualified).
Excellent communication skills are a must with the ability to translate technical concepts to a non-technical audience and vice versa.
