IT Project Manager required to work for a prestigious Financial Services orgainsation for an initial 6 months based in the City of London. The Senior Project Manager delivers key technology projects within the programme, ensuring that the client delivers new and enhanced functionality to enable growth and minimise risk. The successful candidate for this role would be a Project Manager with experience delivering technology projects. They should have a desire and passion to medium to large scale projects.

Main Purpose of the Role:

** To lead and manage delivery of Front Office Projects

** Provide the key point of contact for the business relating to their projects

** Drive the delivery of the technology teams and ensure ESO governance is adhered to.

** Develop strong relationships across ESO to support delivery

** Identify opportunities to add value across the Department

Key Responsibilities:

** This role requires the management and delivery of projects, reporting to the Programme Manager. The projects will sit within the systems office for EMEA, and is based in the London headquarters.

** The Senior Project Manager delivers key technology projects within the programme, ensuring that the client delivers new and enhanced functionality to enable growth and minimise risk.

** A successful candidate for this role would be a Project Manager approx.. 7 - 10 years of experience delivering technology projects. They should have a desire and passion to medium to large scale projects.

** They will provide strong leadership to the delivery teams and ensure appropriate governance is maintained.

** A strong, driven personality is essential.

Functional / Technical Competencies:

Work Experience:

** Strong communication skill, both written and verbal with the ability to convey clear messages to various audiences

** Strong stakeholder management and presentation skills

** Understanding of Waterfall and Agile delivery methods

** Excellent team management and leadership skills

** Understanding of Business Projects and transition approaches

** Cultural awareness and an appreciation of diversity

Education / Qualifications:

** Prince 2 / MSP / APM qualifications

** Agile Methodology
