Currently, our client runs a number of services across digital platforms, including websites and helplines offering telephone, email and text support to families.

As the charity approaches their 150th anniversary, they want to grow these services so they’re able to help more people than ever before. As such, our client is looking for a Head of Digital Services to join their team in Angel.

The Role

As the Head of Digital Services, you’ll be responsible for the strategic management and development of our client’s digital support services.

In this key role, you’ll develop services which offer a range of online, telephone, email and text support to families.

Specifically, you will:

- Line manage a Service Manager and Content and Research Officer

- Create a ‘knowledge bank’ of common family issues and associated advice or signposting for staff to access

- Promote the services, both internally and externally

- Work with the Marketing and Communications Team on marketing initiatives

- Plan and deliver sustainability plans

About You

To be considered as a Head of Digital Services, you will need:

- Significant experience or a qualification in digital sales, marketing, service delivery or an associated discipline

- Line management, mentoring or training experience

- Experience of monetising digital channels and knowledge of eCommerce and eCommerce tools

- Previous experience of WordPress or a similar CMS

- Experience of content generation and management

- An understanding of the use of digital channels to deliver support in the not-for-profit sector

- The ability to summarise specialist subject matters in plain English
