Project Coordinator, Transport Sector, Manchester, 6 Months Contract (Outside IR35)

Our transport client is looking for a project coordinator to join there SMART Ticketing team, any knowledge/experience of the transport industry would be beneficial.

You will maintain the running of the projects including liaising with the Project Manager to create and maintain project documents including project plans, H&S reports, gateway reviews and risk reports and assist the Project Manager with specific project related tasks to source information, undertaking site visits, and evaluating results.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years in Project planning/administration with the ability to assist in the delivery of projects, ideally within the transport industry.

Duties

* Project site visits as part of scheme design and delivery process.

* Implement the relevant support procedures for the procurement of, and payment for, the full range of PMS works and services.

* Maintain financial records and provide support and guidance on the procurement of goods and services

* Support professionals in monitoring project progress against agreed funding, outputs and timescales.

* Budget Monitoring as part of procurement process.

* Arranging and ensuring the smooth organisation of all Project Management both internal and external meetings, workshops and events.

* Act as content editor for the Intranet, ensure regular and relevant updates are uploaded to the Internet page.

* Support implementation of PMS document management system, SharePoint including provision or training and guidance.
