We are currently recruiting for a talented and experienced Enterprise Architect on behalf of a well-established Insurance business based in Central Birmingham. This Enterprise Architect role will see the successful candidate operate at a high, strategic level in defining business capabilities and organisational structures, with the intention of driving the business forward. The company are currently under-going a significant period of technological transformation over to the Microsoft Technology stack so there is plenty of interesting work that needs to be undertaken. The Enterprise Architect will also be part of an Architectural function that is still in its relative infancy so there is a fantastic opportunity to put your own print on things and have a say in how things are defined moving forward.

Enterprise Architect Requirements

* Demonstrable experience of architecting applications, business capabilities and organisational structures

* Experience of operating at a high-level from a strategic stand-point, with a track record of improving business performance

* Strong experience in Enterprise architecture, ideally with a background in tech or solutions architecture

* Previous experience of working in a business transformation function or an interest in working in one

* Enthusiasm for technology

* Roadmap design and development

* Experience of defining short, medium and long-term strategies which are aligned correctly to business and IT strategy

* Excellent communication and inter-personal skills
