Senior IT Project manager - Permanent - Surrey based - £65,000 plus bonus, plus benefits.

This senior project delivery Manager role is required to assist the head of PMO and the Project Management team in the delivery of all projects , production, maintenance and implementation of project plans. You will be responsible for the implementation and operation of the project and programme governance process and responsible for creating and implementing an integrated planning framework for the overall Programme. Ideally 5 years experience of working on complex transformation programmes you will manage a team of up to 5 PM's or technical support personnel, so will need experience in managing teams along with excellent stakeholder management skills. The role requires a strong leader that can professionally manage expectations of other senior business leaders in a cost and time pressured environment. Excellent interpersonal, communication, negotiating, influencing and presentation skills along with a high level of written and verbal communication skills are key to interacting with management effectively.

* Experience of working in a change environment

* Knowledge of standard PMO working practices/methodologies & governance

* Project delivery experience or knowledge is essential

* Delivery experience of CRM and Infrastructure desirable

* Knowledge of governance, reporting and planning techniques and understanding of the programme/project lifecycle

* Able to work in a team but able to act/work independently

* Challenge where necessary and drive forward change in tight timescales

* Confidence in own ability/knowledge and able to bring the stakeholders/project team together

* Strong Microsoft Office capabilities especially Excel analysis and PowerPoint reports.

* Experience of stakeholder management and excellent communication skills

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills

* Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills

* Strong background with min 10 years of Project delivery Management experience.
