IT Procurement Manager

Peterborough

£40,000 to £60,000 plus benefits (dependent on experience)

Our well-known client is seeking to recruit a new IT Procurement Manager to join their expanding business in Peterborough.

As a subject matter expert, the Procurement & Contracts Manager is responsible for the development of the IT and Technology Procurement & Contracts capability covering Hardware, Infrastructure, Software and Software Licencing, Security, Networks and Telecoms categories.

You will create and maintain an effective supplier management framework including contractual and commercial performance whilst driving supplier improvement, and deal with supplier issues on a day to day basis.

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you will likely possess the following skills & experience...

- Strong IT procurement background

- Signifcant experience within management (or team leading position)

- Excellent knowledge and exposure to Software Licencing

- Good tender process/management knowledge

- Experience demonstrating cost-saving across business
