Service Integrator - Embedded Service Build Integration Role Description- Corsham- 7 months (SC Clearance)

The client is looking for someone to be accountable for ensuring that whole life-cycle and pan-pillar delivery of Services (and changing suppliers) have been/are being planned and delivered in a coherent manner through demonstrably viable transition states.

1. Ensure Cross Tower/Service delivery through the provision/assurance of integrated Service Transition States and integrated Delivery Plans that reflect and demonstrate (i.e. underpin) that Services development and supplier transitions are coherent at key capability milestones over time.

2. Ensure coherence and management of Cross Service delivery RAID.

3. Ensure the coherence and management of the delivery of 'change' from the Business and the MSP (as reflected in the architectural/solution road-map)

4. Ensure that Cross Tower/Service Provider Service Management & support maturity is consistent and aligned through Service deployment and over time.(i.e. a coherent service management is provided according to the Solution and MSP mix)

5. Ensure cross Tower/project programmatic RAID and mitigations are viable across multiple services, suppliers and/or projects

6. Ensure coherent and planned transitions to live

7. Ensure the build/configuration and unit/component test of the Service solutions, based on the requirements and designs (in turn integrated as part of Solution Integration above).

8. Release and deployment management - Assure coherent management of suppliers to ensure a successful release management process.

9. Arbitrate with the business regarding conflicting releases and release readiness

Essential Skills

A broad and deep understanding of programme delivery controls associated with a broad, multi-faceted Service Solution delivery and testing across multiple projects and the complexities and implications associated with delivering this is a multi-vendor environment

Programme Director or senior Programme Manager with experience only likely to have been gained 'supplier side' in a large (Global) System Integrator.

* Extensive experience (5-10 years) of large scale technical programme delivery and that addresses the complexities of delivery that spans multiple but inter-related suppliers and technologies

* Experience of, and having undertaken a senior role within, the SIAM delivery model is essential especially with regard to the rigour required in defining and maintaining a pan-supplier delivery plan (including service wrap and tooling).

* Expert knowledge of the Systems Engineering lifecycle and delivery including testing. Especially that associated with complex programme delivery involving multiple suppliers and associated transitions .

* Expert knowledge of multi-perspective Transition state definition and maintenance.

* A command respect for knowledge, experience and excellence within the specific areas of Programme & Transition Management and project controls and how to apply them in a multi-supplier environment.

* Excellent influencing skills and personal presence to make representation at the highest levels both externally and internally, formally and informally, establishing confidence and respect both for the functions represented and as an individual.

* Strong, persistent and influencing nature.

* Ability to structure activities and plan.

* Educated to at least Degree level in an IT/Systems Engineering related discipline

* Qualified in formal Prog Mgmt methodologies (e.g. MSP).

* Certified through a PM professional Institution such as MAPM or similar

* Experience or practical knowledge of ITSM and processes and tooling

* Experience or practical knowledge of formal Technical and Enterprise Architecture methodologies/frameworks.

* Experience or practical knowledge of lifecycle Systems Test and associated methods and practices.

* Experience or practical knowledge of structured system Requirements Engineering.
