Software Architect
A new opportunity has arisen for an experienced Software Architect (PHP) to join a UK-based international global software provider, who over the past 13 years have developed an abundance of leading products suited for every industry.
The successful Software Architect (PHP, MySQL) will be responsible for defining, owning and executing the architectural blueprint of our flagship PHP-based product, whilst identifying the best practice design patterns; taking into consideration performance, security and scalability. The successful Software Architect will work alongside a highly-skilled technical team, whilst also liaising with senior stakeholders and clients, translating business requirements into technical designs and solutions.
Skills and experience required for the Software Architect (PHP):
* Demonstratable architecture background, working with high performance, TPS cloud-based software solutions
* Strong development background is essential, in the specific areas of; PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Queuing technology (ideally RabbitMQ)
* Object oriented design
* Experience of working with Project Delivery Leads, Business Analysts and Test Leads, whilst also building strong relationships with senior stakeholders
* Outstanding written documentation and knowledge sharing skills
* Infrastructure knowledge; Linux/Unix, Virtualisation
* Agile development experience

Salary: £70,000 - £80,000 (depending on experience) + benefits
