Position: Lighting Project Manager

Location: London

Salary: £30000 - £40000 per annum

Job type: Permanent

Client is manufacture and supply luminaires and lighting solutions for business and the public sector. Having over 20 years of expertise in the lighting industry, enables us to deliver cost effective projects with a high level of efficiency.

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE;

The development of new and existing Electrical Contractor and Electrical Wholesaler business by identifying suitable leads, planning appointments to meet potential customers and attending site visits for lighting design opportunities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES;

Attend site where necessary for lighting design.

Liaise with internal departments to meet and exceed satisfactory levels of customer service

Meet and exceed agreed KPIs (e.g. place of work/call count/pipeline generation)

Meet and exceed agreed orders/sales targets (e.g. turnover)

Respond to management requests in a timely manner

Provide accurate and timely forecasting

Effective pipeline management with a strong focus on improving win rates

Provide information relating to market trends and opportunities

Provide feedback from customers (e.g. wants/needs/expectations)

Undertake all training required to develop within the role

Undertake other duties as necessary to the role/business

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS/EXPERIENCE;

Results driven

Excellent written and oral communication skills

Proven organizational and planning ability

Strong desire to build a career in sales

Full UK driving license

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

The ideal candidate would be LIA lighting design qualified.

Need to be a natural sales person

It is important to have strong people skills.

An opportunist within the contractor/installation channels.

Looking at candidates: who have worked at al Electrical Wholeseller, Branch Sales Rep, Branch Managers etc. Open to more types of candidates.

We are still looking for LIA qualification- but if they have everything BUT please send across so we can have a look.
