QA Test Analyst

South Manchester

Salary up to £25,000

My client are looking for a self-motivated, and passionate Test Analyst with at least a year of commercial

experience who shares our values in collaboration, creativity and innovative ideas to work alongside our

existing team on exciting projects

Your job will require you to have a desire to take on new responsibilities and the ability to clearly articulate

problems to colleagues and customers of varying technical knowledge. You should be capable of

communicating clearly and effectively with non-technical clients as we as other members of the wider project

team.

You will be expected to:

* Be the authority in testing on their assigned projects

* Script and execute manual tests of tasks completed by developers

* Regularly run full regression tests to ensure consistent stability

* Have a very high quality of written and spoken English

* Be able to articulate issues well to people of varied technical ability

* Manage their own time efficiently to ensure work is completed efficiently

* Write and document test plans, scripts and processes

* Report bugs and tasks within the company's tracking system YouTrack

* Participate in client facing meetings or conference calls

They willexpect you to have the following skills/experience:

* Experience writing test scripts

* Experience testing within the software industry (eg. functional, regression, user acceptance and

exploratory testing)

* Experience using test and issue tracking software (eg. Jira, YouTrack etc.)

* Ability to work in a team.

* Excellent time management skills.

* Computer skills with experience in Word/Excel or similar tools.

* Working in an agile environment

For this position, my client are offering a salary in the region of £20k - 25k + benefits + an attractive holiday scheme.
