Job Title: Mechanical Design Engineer

Location: St Leonards on Sea

Salary: £27,500 - £30,000 depending on experience

Job type: Permanent, Full time

In recent years they've even gone on to win a number of national awards in recognition of their determination to keep Britain manufacturing.

They are currently looking to hire 2 Mechanical Design Engineers to join the team and help improve and expand their Engineering resource.

The Role

They are seeking qualified engineers with a minimum of 5 years experience in mechanical engineering to join their team in the design and development of a wide range of diverse industrial and military electro- mechanical products.

The Candidate:

The successful candidate will have experience of, or ability to work in, and environment compliant with AS9100/ISO9001/DAOS requirements. Experience of solid modelling software, preferably SolidWorks, and familiarity with drafting practices are essential.

You'll also have the ability to contribute innovative ideas to assist in the design and development process of new and existing products and their components; the performing of tests and production of often considerable associated documentation is required and therefore the ability to produce this in a well presented manner is expected.
