Spring Technology is currently recruiting on behalf of one of our leading clients.

Based in London our client is looking for an Enterprise Seasoned Messaging Engineer

on an initial 6 Month Contract with very likely extensions

The resource predominantly require deep domain knowledge of technologies to understand and gather business/technical requirement to design a redundant and secure enterprise messaging on-premises infrastructure, that includes sizing , documentation and cost estimation.

The resource should be proficient in collaborating with other functional and technical teams to plan and execute pre-production testing and Production deployments with complex co-existence of compatible MSExchange versions with Lotus Notes and hybrid messaging infrastructure, along with O365 and supporting technology and protocol integration

Ability to lead the MSExchange version/update pre-prod testing, production roll-out, assist with operational escalations, Office 365 cloud / on-premises migration requirements and approach.

In-depth knowledge on MSExchange integrating technologies, features and application for solution design and documentation, pre-prod testing and production planning and roll-out

Key technical skills with deep understanding and hands-on expertise on

Microsoft Exchange 2010 / 2013 / 2016 & O365 versions and messaging technologies including data loss prevention and exchange archiving

Active Directory : MS Windows 2008R2 / 2012 /2016

Network Load Balancer, WAN requirement for global messaging sites

Various Hardware and Storage consideration to host MSExchange

Security principals to Identify and incorporate deprecated / supported algorithms/protocols

Automate the routine tasks with proficiency on PowerShell Scripting

Good understanding of IT Infrastructure technologies and Infrastructure management operations

Secondary technical skill set required

Exchange Unified Messaging 2010, 2013 & 2016

Skype, SharePoint and Unified Messaging Integration

Application Integration via EWS, POP, IMAP, SMTP

Non-Technical skills required

Business and Technical communication, documentation proficiency

Strong written communication (able to write high quality end user comms, marketing materials, product documentation aimed at business and end users)

Ability conceptualize solutions and communicate them effectively to internal teams and customers

Ability to be concise, articulate, and assertive in all forms of communication

Excellent analytical, decision making and troubleshooting skills

Ability to lead and work collaboratively with a group of senior technical / management teams

Ability to deal with partners and peers located worldwide

Creative and skillful in making Power Point decks look professional and sleek. Able to create a short video to show a user on new feature and functionality on client

Knowledge and experience working in an ITIL driven environment
