Supply Quality Engineer

Bristol

£28000-£35000 + Pension + Holiday

In this role you will be tasked with providing support for the value stream with regards to containment and management of supplier related issues in terms of PPM, non conformities and financial claims.

The ideal candidate will have experience as a supplier quality engineer and have solid knowledge of quality tools.

This is a great role for a supplier quality engineer to join a business that will offer a varied role with a technical challenge.

The role:

*Ensure accurate and timely reporting of supplier PPM data highlighting improvement opportunities and criticalities.

*Minimize impact of supplier returns on overall plant material stock

*Audit in agreed time intervals inventory of supplier returns

*Manage together with value stream, IE and OTD containment for supplier issues observing the RACI matrix

*Request, follow up and close 8D reports or supplier quality alerts observing the RACI Matrix

*Provide and ensure support for supplier issue escalation process regarding supplier issues (HC) as per RACI Matrix

*Ensure supplier claims data is accurately recorded and quality claims are built according to supplier quality agreement.

*Support PQS and FPA & Supplier Quality Supervisor on PPAP activities and line trial with external supplier parts.

The person:

*Relevant experience in the same or very similar role.

*Solid knowledge of Quality tools (8D, A3, Kano, SAS system…).

*Customer quality orientation.

*Strong knowledge of Factory Information Systems and Standardization.
