Remote Senior Backend Engineer opportunity working for a Stealth Blockchain Start-up. You will be working as part of a distributed team, working on the latest innovative Blockchain technology.

This is opportunity to work alongside experienced entrepreneurs in a very well funded VC backed Blockchain technology business. You will be working with highly skilled engineers - PhDs in nuclear physics, quantum cryptography and decentralised networks.

You will lead be leading the architecture and development of backend infrastructure using your DevOps experience and you will be using cutting edge tech to build a layer of innovative services on top of Ethereum nodes.

Responsibilities

* Lead the architecture, development and operation of Backend infrastructure in a DevOps Manner

* Improve efficiency, scalability and reliability of backend systems

* Develop services that will enable seamless interactions between mobile clients and smart contracts

* Recommenced testing & automation tools

Skills Required:

* You have 5+ years of experience designing and delivering scalable distributed systems in a Java.

* Experience with Node.js. Knowledge of Go is a plus

* Experience building consumer facing APIs and you can master web paradigms such as REST, RPC, and Websockets

* Experience of designing and developing a secure infrastructure on AWS

* Any experience with Ethereum and Smart Contracts is a plus

* You should enjoy learning and adopting to new technologies.

You need to be based in either the UK or Europe. Distributed Team - Time zones still need to be similar.
