A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join a Financial Exchange Company based in the city.

I am currently seeking an experienced Java Developer to join a small team to help develop and support Java, PL/SQL (Oracle) application that maintains Fixed Income Software.

Key responsibilities:

           Develops new systems or extensions to existing systems from supplied requirements and specifications in accordance with agreed standards

           Adheres to change control and implementation procedures

           Assists in estimating system and program development times and costs

           Out of hours on call support for Production systems and occasional resolution of priority issues

Knowledge and experience

           Significant experience in the development process with hands on experience of basic design, structured programming, work reviews, testing cycles from unit to acceptance testing, release build, implementation and post release bug/issue fixes

           Technical Skills - Required

o Java

o Linux scripting

o Junit / Mocking

           Technical Skills - Desirable

o Oracle / SQL

o Oracle Tools, such as SQL*LDR

o PL/SQL

o Git

o Gradle

o Spring

o Swing

o XML

o XSLT
