SC Test Manager - Reading - 12 Month Contract
My client, a large technology consultancy are looking for a Test Manager to join them on a 12 month contract. The position will be based full time on site in Reading supporting a defence customer and can offer a competitive daily rate.
Role Information:
* Provides specialist testing advice and delivery and is accountable for managing testing activities on application or infrastructure projects within a program or service as part of a risk treatment and validation activity.
* Supplies stakeholders with the data they require to be able to make informed decisions in respect to solution or component suitability to progress to the next development stage or for release into production.
* Creates test plan documents, associated with testing specialism or test strategy for projects, that address the requirements and mitigate the risks of the solution under test.
* Contributes to internal testing standards and accountability for management of a test team.
* The project is contracted to supply both hardware and software infrastructure solutions to support the customer transition to a common base solution, based on Windows 2003 server and (Win7) UAD products, whilst ensuring ongoing connection and support to legacy systems and the ultimate transfer of such into the solution.
Required Skills:
* Ideally the client are looking for large scale experience of UAT.
* Prior Test Management experience is essential for the role but the role may need someone more hands on at times.
* The client may also be interested in speaking with candidates who hold both ITIL and Prince2 Certifications.
* Candidates should also hold an active SC Clearance or be eligible and willing to undergo the process.
