Compliance Consultant

London

I am currently working with a Lloyds Insurance business, based in Central London who are looking to source a Compliance Consultant for 6-12 months. This role is working closely with the Head of Compliance and allows exposure across the Compliance function (predominantly within the second line of defence.

Role requirements:

* Identification and assessment of compliance risk, and the development and oversight of an appropriate framework to ensure the management of compliance.

* Providing advice to the companys governing bodies on compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

* Ensuring that the Compliance Strategy is in line with its broader strategic objectives.

* Drafting procedural documentation and advising the business in relation to Solvency II requirements around Compliance.

Profile requirements:

* Good understanding of Solvency II and related cross border regulation.

* Experience in designing and operating governance frameworks.

* Excellent understanding of the general insurance industry and ideally the Lloyds market.

* Any Solvency II, fair treatment of customers, Financial Crime, Data Protection, Conflicts of Interest, and Whistle-blowing would be highly beneficial.
