Senior Support Engineer - 3rd Line

£34,000 - £38,000 DOE

Our client is recruiting on behalf of one of Bristol’s fastest-growing technology companies, a leading IT support business. Due to ongoing success, they’re currently looking for a Senior Support Engineer to join their team, working 1pm - 10pm, five days a week.

As the Senior Support Engineer, you will:

- Predominantly work on the Helpdesk

- Respond to 3rd line support issues

- Communicate technical issues in non-technical terms

- Keep up-to-date and detailed notes of your work

- Assist with technical projects as required

Interested?

To be considered, you’ll need extensive IT support experience. Experience with the following is also essential:

- MS Windows 2008 / 2012 / 2016 Server management

- Hyper V and other virtualization platforms

- Exchange Server 2007 / 2010 / 2013 management

- Office 365 and Azure migration and management

- Network and firewall infrastructure management and deployment

- Active Directory and group policy management

- Monitoring customer servers and performing preventative maintenance

- Deployment of managed Anti-Virus and Backup solutions

- Server infrastructure deployment and configuration

- Cyber security and GDPR
