The Information Services (IS) Corporate Business Partner serves as the strategic partner and trusted advisor to Corporate teams. The successful candidate will play a key role in creating and maintaining a Corporate IS strategy and roadmap, aligned to business goals and identifying opportunities where Information Services can bring about efficiencies, embed quality, and drive business innovation.

As the Information Services business partner, the role holder will lead the delivery of portions of the roadmap and ensures effective adoption of new solutions. Through the roadmap, maintains a sharp focus on delivering operational efficiencies across the enterprise and promotes the best possible customer experience. Business partners include, but are not limited to Human Resources, Finance, Legal, and Compliance.

Responsibilities:

* Partner with business functions to develop, maintain, and communicate aligned Information System strategies while overseeing implementation of projects in support of the strategy.

* Develop a detailed understanding of Corporate business processes to serve as subject matter expert on behalf of business stakeholders as new technology solutions and enhancements are implemented.

* Participate in the prioritization of the Corporate systems portfolio and represents the portfolio to stakeholders.

* Apply knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry, maintain awareness of the competitive environment, and exhibit knowledge seeking and sharing best practices.

* Provide oversight and hands-on project management for Corporate technology initiatives.

* Manage internal/external team members in executing the project management & software development lifecycles, driving adoption, and measuring the value / effectiveness of implemented systems & processes.

* Ensure teams embrace GxP, IS Compliance, IS Security, SOX, data privacy, and other risk management considerations, and that they are embedded in projects and operations.

* Instill an agile and continuous improvement culture.

* Manage vendors including vendor evaluation / selection, due diligence, contracting, and performance management.

* Foster partnerships and contracts which result in competitive investment and maximizes the efficiency of vendor performance.

Requirements:

* Degree in a related technical or business discipline is required.

* Experience in the pharmaceutical and/or medical device industry is highly desirable.

* Must have extensive experience managing internal and external teams to deliver solutions leveraging mobile, cloud, business intelligence, portals, web, and other emerging technologies.

* Organizational change management experience, leveraging key change management principals and tools for the rollout of new capabilities and introduction of change to the business. In addition, monitored and drove the adoption of new business processes and support IT capabilities.

* Extensive experience Managing projects and services in areas such as human capital management, enterprise resources planning, financial planning and analysis, expense management, contract management, and/or healthcare practitioner transparency reporting.

* Vendor management experience including vendor evaluation / selection, due diligence, contracting, and performance management.

* Experience managing financials for projects and IT operations.
