3rd Line IT Support Engineer

Spring Technology's client, a public sector organisation in Dundee, are currently looking to recruit a 3rd Line IT Support Engineer for an initial 3 month contract on a rate of c.£300-£350/day (inside of IR35).

Responsibilities:

* Monitoring and Support of Vmware 5.5 Farm split over 2 sites.

* Monitoring and Support of Citrix 6.5 Farm.

* Data and mail file move from existing site to new greenfield site.

* Troubleshooting any connectivity and performance issues with the service.

* Working closely with the external provider to ensure interoperability, compatibility and reliability of the service.

Requirements:

* Understanding of Citrix.

* Understanding of Blade centre infrastructures and technologies.

* Experience working at a high level within public or private sector to deliver large-scale projects to business processes and systems.

* Experience engaging with technical staff and managing both internal and external stakeholders.

* Experience using Agile project management techniques and working practices, open source, cloud platforms and digital services would be highly advantageous.

* VMware certification is desirable.
