The Technical Architect role works with the Enterprise Architects to set the platform technical roadmap, and also works with the Solution Architect role and software delivery teams on a day-to-day basis to ensure the delivery of new solutions is in adherence to overarching standards

JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES

To shape and manage the Technical Architecture for our corporate IT (HR and Finance etc.) landscape including;

> Providing technical expertise and guidance to development teams (both easyJet and 3rd parties) around architecture design and implementation, ensuring standards are consistency upheld and quality practices are embedded early within delivery teams

> Maintain a technical Roadmap for the platform, defining how constituent technologies, frameworks and hosted environment are kept up to date to ensure maximum productivity and cost effectiveness.

> Set and govern non-functional requirements for systems ensuring that all delivery teams meet set standards around performance, security, code maintainability and supportability.

We are looking for someone with :

Significant commercial experience as a Technical Architect, within integration of COTS (commercial off the shelf packages), ideally in a HR/Finance environment.

Experience of Agresso, Workday or similar systems would be an advantage but not essential.

Demonstrable experience of delivering high quality technical solutions in line with business needs and timescales.

Understanding of software best practices, design principles & patterns

Ability to explain complex technical information in business terms, helping to shape business process

Good understanding of coding best practices for security and performance

Experience of working in a technology based role and interfacing to a varied number of internal and external stakeholders
