Seeking a technical Project Manager to join an expanding team in a leading financial company based in Cork. The successful candidate will assist in multiple project streams across the IT Operations and Infrastructure teams.

My client requires a project manager that has experience delivering projects involving storage, networks, mainframes, servers, Windows, Unix, SQL for a 6 month daily rate contract based in Cork.

Hardware and Infrastructure project experience is preferred rather then software or digital project experience.

Role: Technical Project Manager

Duration: 6 month daily rate contract role

Start Date: ASAP, interviews taken place this week

Location: Cork

Rate: EUR400- EUR450 per day, depending on relevant experience

Skills:

- Responsible for operational deployments.

- Good understanding of server and network engineering.

- Experience in project decisions regarding technical approaches, cost and scheduling, and performance.

- Responsible for identification of schedule, cost variances, and development and implementation of recommendations for corrective action for negative variances.

- Liaising between technical staff, PMO staff, and customers to ensure product delivery and efficiency.

- Typical projects include deploying multiple managed services to new customers, such as Citrix, VoIP, on-side file servers, and data migration.
