IT Project Manager, IT Operations

IT Operations manages the IT infrastructure and supporting services that are critical for HSBC employees and customers, such as cost-efficient hardware, system software, middleware and databases, data centres, voice and data networks, ATMs, desktops and other devices.

It employs around 8,500 employees globally and comprises five functions: Client Services, Enterprise Services and Architecture, Data Centre and Service Management, Relationship Management, Project Management and PMO, and Risk and Administration. Collectively, these areas define and deliver HSBC's technology strategy to support the Group's goals.

We are currently seeking an experienced individual to join this team in the role of IT Project Manager.

In this role, you will:

* Manage Risks and Issues to enable correct decisions in the project lifecycle to be made with adequate mitigation

* Manage delivery teams through the IT development lifecycle both Waterfall and Agile to ensure the IT project is delivered on time and in budget

* Work alongside the change partners to ensure IT support all areas of the project

* Support the business stakeholders in meeting their requirements

* Track costs from both internal and external suppliers to ensure the project is delivered in the most cost efficient way

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

* Great organizational and self-Management skills to ensure all teams are managed to an exemplary level

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills both written and verbal to ensure effective communication with all levels of the organisation

* Self-Motivated individual who is willing to grow and develop to become a key member of the team.
