Technical IT Project Manager - Software with Agile / Kanban.

The Technical Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing cross-functional areas of product development. This position serves an essential liaison role between the senior management, product management, UI design, development, development operations and architecture. In partnership with the delivery managers, the Technical Project Manager will manage all aspects of projects through the full software development lifecycle.

You must have strong experience in delivering complex software projects and of driving organisational change around process innovation and improvement. Familiar with different software delivery methodologies, primarily agile based SDLC, and will have a strong collaborative approach to enable the organisation to continue to achieve ambitious product and product development objectives while continuing to grow the organisation. Be able to work across an organisation to influence the right behaviours and win support for the project and process changes required to meet the company's goals.

Key expertise needed for this role

Technical Project Management

Solid Scrum ideally Kanban expertise

Working with cross functional areas of Product development

Essential Qualifications

5+ years project management experience (ideally with relevant qualifications)

Essential: Agile development methodologies and managing complex projects in an Agile environment, with experience in different SDLC methodologies

Kanban expertise - nice to have

Proven ability to manage a portfolio of work across multiple projects and teams

Demonstrated ability to think strategically when planning, managing teams and processes

Takes accountability for all project management aspects and works effectively and closely with the delivery managers

Excellent communication and customer service skills, which enable successful collaboration with executive level stakeholders

Strong experience facilitating project team meetings, cross-functional communication and decision making, and ensuring alignment with internal and external stakeholders

Sound judgement, problem solving, and collaboration in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions to problems

Ability to work effectively with cross-functional or horizontally aligned teams

Desired Qualifications

Experience of SaaS based environments

Experience working in a sales driven organisation

Experience in a consulting environment
