What you'll do:

We are expanding and we are looking to hire a top quality, enthusiastic SEiT engineer from a relevant background to work in our lean squads.

* Own the quality control capability in your squad and evangelise a high standard of testing amongst engineers

* Create, maintain and advocate testing of API services, through the use of multi-layered automation frameworks.

* Steer test approach to include mocks, stubs and automated frameworks through early engagement.

* Play a part in maintaining and executing non-functional tests for your services

You will be keen to share your skills and experience with more junior members of the squad to help them in their development.

You will be self-motivated and willing to contribute to design at all levels, listening and learning from the talented people around you. We believe we have a strong culture and we want you to be a part of it.

How you'll do it:

Working as part of a team of talented engineers and testers you will:

* Advocate that all engineers in the team to be involved with the creation and maintenance of test tooling code.

* Apply an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to testing problems.

* Be flexible in your role and develop yourself to learn new skills when required

* Support your squad's continuous improvement agenda as part of our high performing team mentality

How we work:

* Our test engineers work closely with colleagues in all positions, so a good level of interpersonal skill is important to us

* Expert in Javascript

* Back end experience (testing of services)

* Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery is required

* We expect candidates to be comfortable working in a Linux environment

* Hands-on experience with AWS is a bonus
