My client is looking for a Solution Architect to join the team on an initial 12 month contract based 15 minutes from Sydney's CBD.

About the role

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

* Being a trusted advisor of solution architectures in alignment with Enterprise Architecture

* Collaborate with various stakeholders to understand business goals and delivery outcomes

* Engage other Architects for successful delivery of program streams and individual projects

* Uphold the architectural governance principles and good implementation design

* Effectively manage risks and issues associated with Solution designs

* Develop and contribute to Architecture Definition, Solution Architecture and documents

* Update the Enterprise Architecture repository maintaining impacted components, relationships and attributes

What you can bring to this role

* A minimum of 5 years experience as a Solution Architect working on large-scale, technical projects

* Managing multi-party Solution Architecture, design and solution delivery

* Strong background with various integration technologies in both on-premise and cloud environments

* TOGAF certified or experience with Architecture frameworks

* Preferred technology experience:

* Web Services and Micro Services design, RESTFul / Queue based API and messaging

* Integration Platform as a Service (IPaas) solutions

* Industrial Control Systems (ICS)

* Transportation or Logistics management systems

* Internet of Things (IoT) and connected devices

* Network and Security technologies

* Microsoft Azure & Amazon cloud platforms
