Information Security Manager - Culture, Awareness, Human Behaviour - Permanent - London - Competitive Salary
Key Responsibilities:
* Build, maintain and measure an active security awareness programme that engages staff, reduces risk to our client by changing human behaviour, and ensures our organisation remains compliant
* Ensure that our security awareness programme meets all industry regulations, standards, and compliance requirements
* Lead on gaining support and understanding for the subject of information security across the organisation at all levels and bringing it to life in creative ways
* Develop and implement specific training materials on information security subject matters.
* Lead awareness campaigns across our client from development to delivery, managing allocated budgets and liaising with 3rd parties as appropriate
* Oversee the smooth running of day to day internal communications activities and events.
* Build purposeful relationships by collaborating, sharing and seeking opinions and ideas
* Manage the design and drafting of awareness materials
* Make information security more accessible to staff and raise the profile of the team.
* Assist other parts of the Security team in identifying information security gaps within services, systems and processes
* Contribute to the overall Information Security programme of improvements
* Deliver awareness raising sessions to the organisation
Skills / Experience:
* Experience of Cyber Security and programme delivery.
* Knowledge of Information Security systems and process and /or understanding of the UK Data Protection Act 1998 / European Global Data Protection Regulation
* Experience of implementing internal communications, marketing, awareness, education and training events or campaigns
* Excellent stakeholder management and engagement skills; strong track record negotiating and managing internal and external stakeholders and third parties
* Ability to form complex communications/messages in a simple, clear and concise manner to the various parts of our organisation.
* Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
* Effective and creative problem-solving skills
* An understanding of the culture and ethos of our client
* Proven track record of operating in time critical, diverse, creative and corporate environments
Desirable Skills:
* Knowledge of current Learning & Development best practise in creative organisations
* Knowledge of Information Security systems and process
* Knowledge of ISO 27001 and / or NIST Security Control and Framework for Improving Critical Infrastructure Cybersecurity
* Practical understanding of the technologies and architectures supporting information security protection
