One of the United Kingdom's largest organisations within the power generation sector responsible for the design, build and operation of energy assets across the country is seeking an M&E Project Manager to join them as they continue their growth.

Scope of work

Responsible for the successful delivery of construction projects encompassing a range of energy technologies such as combined heat and power, as M&E Project Manager you will be tasked with managing and leading a team of project personnel to project conclusion. Projects will be located across the United Kingdom and will vary in size and complexity.

Holding accountability for developing and implementing detailed installation project plans, you will be required to ensure that projects meet budget and comply with all HSE processes and procedures. The role will also encompass the co-ordination of meetings to ensure both internal and external parties are aligned in meeting a delivery plan.

The M&E Project Manager will engage in customer-facing activity, establishing strong relationships and maintaining a high-level of customer satisfaction. In this role, you will also assist with the procurement and management of contractors. Reporting also plays an integral part of the position, as you will be tasked with providing the Project Leader on-time progress reports on project timescales, resources, HSE and budgets.

The role is mainly field-based as you manage projects across the United Kingdom, however will require attendance at their Berkshire Headquarters as, and when, required.

You will:

* Have project management experience within the HVAC, Energy and/or CHP construction and installation sectors

* Possess an electrical, mechanical or construction engineering background with a relevant engineering qualification.

* Hold an APM or equivalent professional certification

* Have a proven record in construction and installation project management, delivering sizeable and complex projects.
