About this key role

You will have a broad range of duties, including accurately recording, monitoring and progressing service tickets, plus building and maintaining end user laptops and desktops. You will also install and update software and workstation equipment (dock and monitors), plus create and oversee the ongoing maintenance of user accounts and groups. You will also be expected to:

- Manage user security and the provision of telephony equipment (mobile and desktop)

- Provide training and guidance to end users

- Liaise with third party suppliers

What we are looking for

You will have a proven record of providing excellent customer service to end users at all levels within an organisation and have strong technical skills, including Windows 10, Microsoft Office 365, Google G-Suite (including Google Drive), and Android.

Organised, creative and customer-focused, you must be an outstanding communicator, both verbal and written, and enjoy technical problem-solving as well as discovering and implementing solutions to difficult issues. You will also thrive on working within a team and under pressure, while attention to detail and a good working knowledge of the Data Protection Act and an understanding of the implications of GDPR are also vital.
