IT Systems Administrator is required by prestigious organisation in their state-of-the-art Abingdon offices.

As the IT Systems Administrator you will be providing support to clients, internal stakeholders and working closely with the IT operations team and the Developers. You will drive improvements to the current IT infrastructure, in particular the hosted infrastructure, both internal and external facing.

You will be passionate about providing first class support and play a part in moving the business forward and proactively improve the tools.

Responsibilities for the IT Systems Administrator include:

* Be responsible for the hosted services and application infrastructure

* Provide support for the implementation of procedures and programs, to ensure data safety

* Carry out security patching, auditing and other IT Operations and maintenance

* Be able to identify and solve IT Problems with minimal impact on users

* Internal and External Helpdesk support

* Work closely with Development and support team to become expert user in bespoke products

Essential Skills for the IT Systems Administrator:

* Hold or be eligible for SC clearance

* Proven track record with hosted services, remote operation and supporting hosted SAAS

* Skilled in running and maintaining Microsoft Windows environment

* Experience of identifying and rectifying IT issues

* Genuine passion for providing first-class support

* Working knowledge of SQL, Apache, scripting and remote monitoring tools

* Some flexibility to travel

Desirable Skills for the IT Systems Administrator:

* Experience of Microsoft Office 365 deployment and administration

* OKTA

* Knowledge of ISO 27001

* Knowledge of Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials Plus standards

* Nessus
