AWS DevOps Engineer - CONTRACT - London - £600 - 6 months

The role:

I'm currently seekng the perfect DevOps Engineer to join the infrastructure team for an online sports product company in the heart of London. You will be working on toughening the security of the AWS infrastructure as well as ensuring the general running of Terraform. The company are looking to carry out a cloud migration project from their on-premise infrastructure to AWS which you will be responsible for.

The ideal candidate will have end-to-end experience with AWS migration projects, with a proven track record in finding simple and sustainable solutions to complex, problematic migration tasks. You will also have experience in various sized projects, displaying leadership qualities in order to communicate and collaborate effectively with your colleagues. The perfect candidate will have worked with a wide range of continuous delivery and DevOps tools.

Required experience:

* Strong previous experience working AWS Cloud migration projects.

* Experience in creating, changing, and improving infrastructure as code - Terraform.

* Ability to use a wide variety of open source technologies.

* Commercial experience with the deployment of container applications such as Docker. Good knowledge of Kubernetes is helpful.

* Experience with automation/configuration tool - Ansible, Chef or Puppet.

* Strong exposure using Scripting languages, i.e. Python, Bash.

* Objective driven development, with experience with data types, structure and operations.
