Job: IT Security Engineer

Location: Cork

Duration: 6 months

Daily Rate: EUR450 p/d

A Cork based business is seeking an experienced IT Security Engineer for a 6 month engagement to assist with a combination of BAU and project work. There is a high chance of extension after the initial 6 month period

Requirements:

* Good understanding of security change management in a regulated environment

* Hands on experience with IDS, Endpoint Protection and DDoS mitigation

* Network Security experience with Checkpoint, Cisco ASA and Palo Alto firewall configuration and management

* Email security and Secure File Transfer experience

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills

* Ability to work autonomously and use ones initiative

* Understanding of SIEM technologies
