The company

My client are healthcare company based in Northeast Dublin. They have a portfolio of healthcare products including medicines, medical devices, foods for special medical purpose and foods supplement. As Quality Manager, you will be reporting to the CEO as a senior member of the management team and will be leading and managing the Quality Department.

Your profile

You have a 3rd level qualification in a scientific discipline. Your work background includes 7+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical and/or medical device industry - ideally experience with both. You have previous experience of management of a team within Quality Department or division, with specific experience working in a Quality Assurance and / or a Quality Systems role. Lead Auditor Training is preferred - Certified Internal Audit and External Audit - as you need a strong background in the application of Experience in regulatory inspections, supplier audits and customer audits. Although not essential, if you are a QP this will be a distinct advantage.

You need to have an EU Passport / stamp 4 Visa as relocation or sponsorship is not offered in this package.

The role

As Quality Manager, you will have a small team of direct reports and you will also work closely with the QP on site. You will be working in fast paced environment where no two days are the same.

You will be responsible for general oversight and management of the Quality Management System(s), coordination of Quality Compliance activities across the company and will lead a number of Quality Improvement Projects and general business development activities from a Quality Perspective. Some of the responsibilities will include:

Quality Compliance

* Ensuring compliance with GMP, GDP, ISO 13485

* Update and approval of Technical Agreements

* Oversight over Quality documents

Quality Control & Quality Assurance

* Responsible for Quality Control and Assurance oversight of contract manufacturers, suppliers and QC laboratories in compliance with applicable standards of GMP/GDP/ISO13485.

* Analysis of Quality processes and the development of quality improvement plans and continuous improvements

Auditing

* Lead, manage and participate in audits by health authorities or notified bodies

* Plan, manage and execute annual vendor assessments

* Travel for audits is less than 10%
