Quality Engineer (Automotive / Aerospace)

Rochdale (Commutable from Bolton, Manchester, Huddersfield)

£30,000 - £35,000 + Training + Progression + Pension

Are you a Quality Engineer from an automotive background looking to work for a leading automotive manufacturer, where you will be behind the company's expansion plans, using your own expertise to develop the company further?

This is a great opportunity to work for a well-established automotive company, in a technically interesting role, where you will receive world class technical development whilst having the autonomy to implement professional and strategic processes

The company is a rapidly expanding manufacturer who supply parts to well-known brands on a global scale. Due to a recent period of investment in new moulding machines and specialist manufacturing equipment, they are looking to grow their already successful operations.

In this role you will be behind the companies site inspections, performance, costs, driving KPI's, internal & external issues and also behind system management and process management. Whilst making sure all equipment and company products are audited and sustained to the highest possible standard (ISO9001 & IATF: 16949).

The ideal candidate would be from an automotive background with previous knowledge of ISO9001. Previous experience of Lean/six sigma methodology and other procedures such as 8D, 5 why & Ishikawa.
