A rare position has opened up in Newbury UK for a Principal Analog IC Design Engineer to join a solid and growing Semiconductor company working on Analog/Mixed Signal IC Designs for the consumer market.

The Principal Analog IC Design Engineer will be responsible for the design and development of new circuit architectures and techniques on advanced process nodes. You will be required to participate in all aspects of the design, from concept to production silicon including contributing to specification, architectural development, Analog IC Design, SPICE, Matlab and Verilog (System Verilog, Verilog A, Verilog-AMS) modelling and simulation, layout supervision, chip-level verification, and lab validation.

Excellent communication skills are required with the ability to work with a sense of urgency and thrive in a dynamic environment. You will be organised, thorough and detailed with a high level of self-motivation, strong analytical and problem solving skills.

As Principal Analog IC Design Engineer you will be contributing to the growth of the team including, mentoring, review and supervision of junior engineers. You will have a strong background in the design and development of CMOS Analog/Mixed-Signal products with a proven track record of delivery and commercial success.

Experience is required in some or all of the following; the design of low power clock generation circuits, oscillators, PLLs, Audio, ADCs and DAC design, DSP or algorithm development and/or, design of power management systems.
