My Client are looking for a Senior Project Manager to work within their IT department. The main purpose of the role will be to manage large complex projects and to meet defined objectives and follow the correct procedures and standards.

This will also involve:

* Minimising the risk of the projects in question

* Create and execute project plans, as well as meeting the needs that are required

* Mange the budget of the project

* Resolve and escalate issues quickly

* Deal with project reviews

* Stick to and enforce companies management methodologies

* Track and improve project outcomes

* Organise and lead the design, development, testing and support of the solution through the system life cycle

* Provide training and mentoring for Project Managers within the IT department

* Identify what resources are needed and assign duties to the individuals

* Led the organisation to manage the testing and validation of the implementation

The ideal Project Manager will have:

* A degree in a relevant sector

* A professional qualification

* Experience working as a Project Manager, ideally implementing software applications

* Knowledge of IT technologies with up to date practises

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills

* The ability to manage and monitor various projects at once

You must be able to work well as part of a team as well as working independently. You should also be able to handle multiple tasks and priorities accordingly.
