A leading training provider in the North East are expanding their training and development team due to continued business success. A fantastic opportunity for an passionate and dedicated Technical Assessor/trainer arose.

The technical assessor/tutor will play a pivotal role assessing IT Apprenticeships at Levels 2, 3 and 4.

Day-to-day responsibilities;

* Managing a caseload of IT Apprentices.

* Deliver, observe and assess L2 - 4 IT apprentices in a working environment

* Build strong relationships with various employers in the region

* Carry out timely apprenticeship progress reviews with employers and apprentices.

* Provide constructive and informative feedback and produce robust and achievable learning plans.

* Actively support, mentor and motivate learners throughout their. apprenticeship journey to ensure timely completion.

* Proactively monitor, evaluate and improve the quality and effectiveness of own workload and working practices to ensure deadlines and targets are met.

Skills and Experience Required

* Assessor Qualification, e.g. A1, D32, D33, or TAQA.

* Knowledge of the ICT Professional Competence Apprenticeship frameworks.

* Assessing up to Level 4 in an IT Subject, ideally apprenticeships (Frameworks and Standards).

* Level 4 or above qualification in Networking, Hardware or Software or equivalent industry experience.

* Proven track record in achieving Targets and Quality Standards.

* Excellent communication skills.

* Knowledge of Digital Apprenticeship Standards would be desirable.

* Teaching qualification or working towards.

* Comptia A+, N+ or S+ desirable (not essential)

* CCNA1, CCNA2 and CCNA Security Instructor Status desirable (not essential).

Full hold a full UK Driving License

Regional travel required
